Heat pump technology
Extract free heat from the environment to cut your energy bills and carbon emissions
What is heat pump technology?
Heat pumps are used to extract ambient heat from the environment to heat radiators, underfloor or warm-air heating systems and hot water. Two types of heat pump technology are available:
- Ground-source heat pumps use underground pipes to extract heat from the ground
- Air-source heat pumps extract heat from the outside air
These low-maintenance systems can significantly reduce your fuel bills, especially if they replace conventional electric heating.
